At Prism we offer free window cleaning quotes for your home or business. Every property is unique, so we'll come to your property to ensure estimates are as precise as possible.

How often should I get my windows cleaned?

Most people agree that you should clean your windows at least twice a year, which is a common practice among our customers.

What happens if I don't clean my windows?

Neglecting window cleaning for an extended period can result in permanent damage, etching, and a reduced lifespan for your windows. Accumulated dirt, grime, and surrounding chemicals can seep into the glass pores if left uncleaned. This deterioration affects the glass's quality and strength, potentially causing etching and broken seals that may result in costly replacements.

Do I need to be home for window cleaning estimate or appointment?

We conduct our estimates from the exterior of your home or business. However, we require access to the entire perimeter for estimates and appointments. If you choose to have Prism perform the work while you're away, please remove your screens for exterior-only appointments or provide access to the interior for both interior and exterior cleans.

Do you clean windowsills?

Yes, Prism will ensure there is no water left behind on the interior sills of your windows, and will clean exterior windowsills while cleaning the exterior of the window.

Do you remove hard water stains?

Prism provides solutions for removing most hard water stains and oxidation, mainly using fine steel wool. These services come at an extra cost. It's crucial to tackle these stains promptly prevent them from etching the glass, which cannot be restored.

How far should I book a window cleaning appointment?

You can schedule appointments up to a year in advance. Generally, we book about two weeks in advance for most days, but we do offer flexibility for emergencies and last minute appointments.

What if it's raining?

Did you know that rainwater itself is clean? The reason windows look dirty after a storm is because raindrops pick up dust, pollen, and grime that are already on the glass. When those droplets dry, they leave behind streaks and spots. That’s why freshly cleaned windows actually stay cleaner, even in the rain—because there’s no dirt for the raindrops to spread around!

We will postpone jobs when severe weather conditions (such as heavy rain, lightning, wind, or extreme temperatures) pose a risk to our employees and operations. During the rainy season, we strongly encourage you to proceed your appointment if there's a possibility of completing it despite the weather, as availability may be limited. However, we will always defer to your preference.

How do you clean windows?

We employ classic window cleaning tools and methods to achieve exceptional results. Our team uses ladders to access windows, hand scrubbing and squeegeeing the glass to ensure a spotless finish. If a window is considered out of reach or unsafe, we may use alternative techniques to ensure it gets cleaned.

Are your solutions kid, pet and plant friendly

Yes, we use a very simple and safe soap solution combined with traditional cleaning techniques to deliver top of the line results.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full liability and workers’ compensation insurance, so you can relax knowing your home and property are protected every step of the way.

We provide discount packages that benefit you for scheduling multiple appointments at the start of the year. Additionally, you can enjoy cash savings, along with various discounts and promotions available throughout the year via email and social media.

Do you require any deposits?

A 50% deposit for Holiday Lighting Packages is required within a week agreeing to the terms. The remaining 50% is upon completion of the installation.
